What is Zeolite?
Zeolite is a natural mineral that was created millions of years ago when volcanoes erupted enormous amounts of ash-aluminosilicates of alkaline and alkaline earths. In a reaction with salt water, this created what we today call Zeolite.
There are three types of Zeolite; fibrous, leafy and crystalline. The crystalline type is what is used in supplements/for medical use, but Zeolite is also common in veterinary use, for water purification, air filters, animal food and more.
How does Zeolite work?
Zeolite has a natural negative charge that attracts and absorbs many different types of gases, petrochemicals, heavy metals (eg. cadmium, mercury, nickel and arsenic), low-level radioactive elements etc.
The unique thing with Zeolite is that it has a 3 dimenasional honey comb structure that has ducts and cavities throughout where heavy metals and toxins easily attach. The structure is so solid that our bodies won’t even break it down when taking Zeolite as a supplement – which keeps the heavy metals and toxins within the comb all the way until we release it through digestion.
Zeolite also creates a hostile environment for viruses in the body by balancing the pH in your blood, which makes it very difficult for foreign cells to grow and multiply.
The Zeolite products we sell through Pure Zeolite is the micronized powder form of Zeolite and this is the form that has been proven effective in all scientific studies.

What is Zeolite good for?
Zeolite has been proven to aid with multiple health problems and is also very good for preventing illness. Here are some medical uses of Zeolite:
- Zeolite as a heavy metal adsorbent. Through industrial waste that pollute our water and soil, heavy metals are spread in our environment.Heavy metals such as mercury, cadmium, lead and arsenic has been vastly studied upon and is known to be one of the biggest threats to human health.Studies has shown that Zeolite has a high affinity for trapping especially lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury and other potentially harmful heavy metals. When taking Zeolite, it first removes these metals wihtin the first few weeks and then it starts to also remove other toxins such as pesticides, herbicides and plastics. Some people taking Zeolite has noticed improvements in mental clarity, increased energy and a continued sense of peace and well-being.
- Zeolite and pH. The pH is a scale used to measure the acidity and alkalinity in your body. Normally the pH ranges between 1 and 14, where a balanced pH is 7 (under 7 is more acid and above 7 is more alkaline). The blood needs a pH of 7,4 to maintain balanced. Today our average diet based on sugar, refined carbohydrates and starch is very acid, which of course has an effect on our blood and it’s pH level. An acid environment is the best environment for viruses to thrive in.Acid blood also creates a precondition for cancer as well as lowered brain cell function that can cause depression, anxiety, stupor, paranoia, delusions and hallucinations.Zeolite establishes pH levels of 7,35 to 7,45, which is the optimum pH for the human body and if maintained it has positive effects on both our immunity and brain function.
- Zeolite as an anti-diarrheal. Many suffer from abdominal cramps, bloating, diarrhea and / or constipation. These symptoms is sometimes the result of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Zeolite helps with IBS by creating a healthier digestive tract along with a positive effect on the bacterial flora and the resorption of vitamins and minerals.
- Zeolite and mycotoxins. Mycotoxins are a diverse family of toxins that are produced by certain fungi. Mycotoxins are capable to cause multiple health problems such as renal and hepatic syndromes as well as dimished immune system.Mycotoxins can be found in all kinds of food, eg. corn, peanuts, milk and cereals – which have been linked to liver, stomach and kidney cancer.
- Zeolite and Viruses. The list of disease caused by viruses is immense and range from the common cold to cancer. Viruses can cause localized infections such as warts or a sore throat, or an infection such as influenza. Zeolite traps the pre-virus components so that the replication stops and therefore the viruse’s ability to cause illness.
Zeolite is also good in these ways:
- A Potent Antioxidant
- Balancing the Circulatory System
- Helping with Rheumatic Disorders
- Restoring the Kidney Function
- Healing Skin Diseases – Zeolite also improves the skin quality by incresing the moisture in the skin
- Helping with Diabetes Mellitus
- Healing wounds and burns
- An aider in treating neuro-psychiatric diseases (insomnia, neurosis, depression, Parkinson’s, Schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s)
- Treats fungal infections
What is the difference between Zeolite powder and Zeolite liquid?
Zeolite can be bought in many different forms on the market, and there are many companies selling Zeolite in liquid form. However, it’s important to understand that liquid Zeolite is just a suspension of the micronized powder and usually contains a very small amount of Zeolite. This is why they’re not as effective as micronized powder. The liquid products are often made by putting tiny amounts of Zeolite powder in water, Humic Acid or other things, and the reality is that it’s just a suspension.
On top of that, a lot of the companies selling liquid Zeolite are multi-level marketing companies, which means that every distributor needs to get paid – leading to much higher prices for the end customer. Many are fooled to think that those expensive liquid Zeolite products are of high quality, as the prices are so high, and they are well marketed, but this is usually not the case.
Instead, we recommend a product called Zetox from Regal Supplements, which is a liquid Zeolite product that contains about 50 times more Zeolite in the suspension. As Regal Supplements is a manufacturer and not a multi-level marketing company, the price of Zetox is about 25% of what the other liquid Zeolite companies are selling it for. On top of that, it has a good flavor, which makes it suitable to give to your children.

How safe is it to take Zeolite?
The Zeolite in all our products that are sold through Pure-Zeolite.com is listed by the American FDA (Food and Drug Administration) as GRAS (which means generally recognized as safe). Even if taken in extremely high dosages, Zeolite is proven to be completely nontoxic. You can even take Zeolite for a very long time and this will only have positive effects on your health.
Does the Zeolite you sell go into the bloodstream?
The answer is yes and this is because we only sell the kind of Zeolite that is the micronized powder form, which has the same particle size that has been proven in scientific studies to have effective and positive health benefits. Since the Zeolite’s structure is very solid, it does not break down in the body but carries the heavy metals, free radicals and toxins out of the body.
However, there are a numerous companies that sells liquid Zeolite that claims that their Zeolite goes into the blood, and powder Zeolite doesn’t. This is thus wrong. In fact, all studies that has ever been made on the health benefits of Zeolite, has been made on the powdered form of Zeolite.
Are there any side effects by taking Zeolite?
There are many detoxifying products that has a variety of side effects and these are usual individual since toxicity can show itself in many different ways. Taking Zeolite does generally not cause any side effects but this may of course vary with different individuals.
Will these Zeolite products conflict with any medications I might be taking?
Our Zeolite products contain only natural minerals and vitamins and these will probably not conflict with your medications. The Zeolite passes through the body and collects heavy metals and toxins while staying intact because of it’s solid structure.
Because of this, it generally doesn’t interact with any other medications but we recommend you to always check with your medical professional if you have any doubts. For example may medications that are based on heavy metals such as lithium be less effective when taking Zeolite, since the Zeolite attracts and detox the body of heavy metals.
Does Zeolite remove any minerals or vitamins that are beneficial to the body?
The answer to this is no, since Zeolite only attract and remove heavy metals and toxins that are non beneficial to the body.
How long time does it take until I start seeing results?
This is of course very individual and hard to answer since everybody shows toxicity in many different ways in their body. Everything from bad skin to severe health problems can be a result of toxins and heavy metals in your body, so people respond differently when taking Zeolite.
However, our recommendation in general is to take the Zeolite product for at least 90 days and then visit your medical professional to have a reevaluation of your health situation. It also also important to take the recommended dosage that is based on your needs to make sure you get the most out of the product.
